127 COVID-19 cases, three deaths in 24 hours

New cases of COVID-19 were recorded at 127 and three infection related deaths across the country in the past 24 hours.

The caseloads were generated from the total 6,874 tests, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. The total death toll from the virus has hit 11,941.

At present, there are 7,770 active cases of infection and the number of recovery has reached 957,488 with 321 in the past 24 hours. The mortality rate is 1.2 percent.

Lately, 35,788 people have been vaccinated against the infection, according to the Ministry.

Now, 7,580 infected people are in home isolation and 190 in institutional isolation. Sixty-eight persons have been receiving treatment at ICU and 10 on ventilator support.
