Bajhang, April 27: Altogether 30,328 votes cast their votes in the by-election held in Bajhang-1 (A) for the province assembly on Saturday.
Chief Election Officer Sudarshan Lamichhane said the by-polls in Bajhang recorded 49.12 percent turnout in the polls happened from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Likewise, Lamichhane said that voting was completed peacefully in 74 polling stations and 93 polling centres. Eleven candidates are vying for the province assembly member.
UML’s Daman Bahadur Bhandari, Nepali Congress Avisekh Bahadur Singh and CPN (Maoist Centre)’s Janak Bahadur Budha are the candidates in the by-poll. RSS #nepal
