Kathmandu, May 1: Sergio Gor, Special Envoy of US President Donald Trump for South and Central Asia, held separate meetings with Nepal’s Foreign Affairs Minister Sishir Khanal and Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle during his visit to Kathmandu.
In his meeting with Minister Khanal, the two sides held constructive discussions on strengthening bilateral cooperation, with a focus on expanding trade and advancing initiatives under the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
Similarly, talks with Finance Minister Wagle centered on enhancing economic partnership and development assistance between Nepal and the United States, according to the Ministry of Finance.

Envoy Gor, who arrived in Kathmandu for two-day visit on Thursday, is scheduled to meet senior government officials, business leaders, and US representatives during his visit. Envoy Gor is also the US Ambassador to India.
However, a meeting with Prime Minister Balendra Shah has not yet been confirmed. #Nepal
