Kathmandu, June 12 : The government has invited applications from qualified Nepali citizens for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Investment Board Nepal (IBN). The Secretariat of the Recommendation Committee, formed under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, published the notice on Friday.
According to the notice, the appointment will be made in accordance with the Public-Private Partnership and Investment Act, 2075 BS, with the recommendation committee forwarding a suitable candidate to the government.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be Nepali citizens holding at least a Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Commerce, Law, Engineering, or a development-related field. They must also have a minimum of 10 years of managerial-level experience in at least one of the following areas: project development, public procurement, public-private partnership, investment promotion, development management, the financial sector, or industrial management.
Candidates must be between 35 and 65 years of age as of the application deadline. Those holding permanent residency (PR) in a foreign country must provide proof or a self-declaration that they relinquished such status at least three months prior to applying.
Required Documents
Interested candidates must submit a copy of their citizenship certificate, academic credentials, experience documents, a curriculum vitae, and a strategic action plan. The strategic plan must include an analysis of the investment climate and potential in Nepal, a SWOT analysis of the Investment Board, and an investment promotion strategy.
Applications must be submitted within 15 days of the publication of the notice to the Secretariat of the Recommendation Committee at Singhadurbar, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
