Kathmandu, June 19: Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Nepal, Ms Ruwanthi Delpitiya, paid a courtesy call on Khadak Raj Paudel today at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation in Kathmandu.
The meeting reaffirmed the warm and longstanding friendship between Sri Lanka and Nepal. Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the areas of tourism, culture, civil aviation, and hospitality management, while also emphasizing the importance of expediting the conclusion of pending bilateral agreements.
Both sides exchanged views on strengthening tourism connectivity between the two countries, including measures to increase tourist arrivals, promote direct air links, and explore opportunities for collaboration through tourism promotion initiatives.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment of Sri Lanka and Nepal to further deepen their friendly relations and expand mutually beneficial cooperation across key sectors. #nepal
