KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has demanded that the government should make necessary arrangements for the timely import of coronavirus vaccine so that no citizen is deprived of the vaccine.
The Congress has also demanded to innoculate second dose of vaccine to senior citizens who had received first dose already.
Chief Whip of the Congress Parliamentary Party, Bal Krishna Khan, telephoned Health and Population Minister Hridayesh Tripathi on Sunday and drew his attention to the issue and prevention, reduction and treatment of COVID-19.
He also requested for immediate assistance and facilitation to the manufacturing company from importing oxygen cylinders, according to the Congress Parliamentary Office.
