KATHMANDU: The stock market index, NEPSE, has declined by 63.28 points on Sunday, the first day of the week. The index, which was declining since the market opened, has come to a halt at 2905.14 points.
A total of 27.34 million shares of 231 companies were traded at a turnover of Rs 11.81 billion today.
The index of all the groups listed in NEPSE declined on Sunday. However, Gurkhas Finance’s share price rose 5.41 percent. Similarly, shares of National Hydropower Company rose by 3.36 per cent and Ruru Hydropower by 3.16 per cent.
Similarly, the share price of Union Hydropower fell by 9.81 percent, Shree Investment Finance by 8.84 percent, Barun Hydropower by 8.73 percent and Nepal Hydro Developers by 8.70 percent.
