Nepal beats Mauritius 1-0 in friendly match

KATHMANDU: Nepal defeated Mauritius 1-0 in its first match under the international friendly tournament underway at Tripureshwor-based Dasharath Stadium on Saturday.

For Nepal, Bimal Ghartimagar scored a goal in the 55th minute, which later turned to be a decisive goal for win the match.

Ghartimagar scored the goal from outside the penalty box with the assist from Anjan Bista from a long distance.

The second match between Nepal and Mauritius is scheduled for coming Tuesday.
