Kathmandu: The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading in the stock market, rose by double digits today. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index rose by 18.09 points today to 2,143.93.
In today’s business, the sensitive index, which measures the share turnover of large companies, rose by 2.51 points and reached 411.23. Out of the total 13 subgroups traded, the share price of two subgroups decreased while the share price of 11 subgroups increased.
Among the transactions, the share price of 147 companies increased while the share price of 62 companies decreased. A total of Rs 1 crore 25 lakh 81 thousand shares were bought and sold today.
Himalayan Distillery was at the top position in terms of turnover. The turnover of that company was Rs 43 crore 19 lakh.
According to NEPSE, the share price of five different companies has increased by 10 percent and there is a positive circuit. These include Chandragiri Hills, Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower, Dhaulagiri Microfinance, Khaptad Microfinance and Creative Microfinance.
