Jajarkot, April 20: Four laborers who were working on the Jajarkot-Dolpa road section were killed when the bailey bridge under construction connecting Tallubagar in Jajarkot and Athbishkot in Rukum West collapsed on Thursday.
According to CPN (UML) central member Niraj Acharya, three people fell into the Bheri river and went missing while four others were seriously injured.
Acharya has requested the local administration and stakeholders to arrange the treatment of the injured as soon as possible and search for the missing persons.
According to RSS, four others who sustained serious injuries in the incident have been sent to a health post at Radi, said Gorakh Bahadur KC, former Mayor of Aathbiskot Municipality.
Meanwhile, local administration, local people and security agencies have started search and rescue of the victims.
