Kathmandu, May 24: The Ministry of Home Affairs has declared a public holiday in Kathmandu Valley tomorrow.
On the occasion of Rato Matsyendranath procession, the ministry has decided a public holiday in three districts — Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur — of Kathmandu Valley.
The notice issued by the ministry said, “On the occasion of the procession to show the Bhoto (cloth) of Rato Matsyendranath on Thursday, it has been decided to give a public holiday in 3 districts of Kathmandu Valley.”
The Bhoto procession ceremony will be held at Jawalakhel in Lalitpur tomorrow. President, Prime Minister and other high level officials including diplomats will attend and observe the special ceremony there.
