Kathmandu, Aug 18: An earthquake measuring 3.9 in the Richter scale happened at Khiratadi area of Bajhang district on Thursday evening.
National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, Lainchaur, said that the earthquake took place at 9:13 pm on Thursday.
Prior to this, a quake 4 in the Richter scale had occurred at Mirsa area of Kaski district on July 19.
