Kathmandu, Nov 23: Aftershocks of the earthquake have passed through the epicenter of Chitlang in Makwanpur, Nepal. According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, an aftershock of magnitude 4.5 took place at 1:19 last night.
Center’s senior seismologist Dr. Lok Bijay Adhikari informed that the aftershock occurred in Chitlang last night, which is on the border of all the three districts of Kathmandu, Makwanpur and Dhading.
He mentioned that as the aftershock was close to Kathmandu, a big shock was felt in the surrounding districts, including Kathmandu.
