Kathmandu, March 2: Nepal has defeated the Netherlands by six wickets in a one side performance in the tri-nation tournament played at Kirtipur stadium today.
Nepal successfully chased a target of 120 runs within 15 overs loosing just four wickets.
Nepali captain Rohit Paudel top scored with 46 runs. Likewise Gulsan Jha scored 38, Kushal Bhurtel 12, Aasif Sheikh 8 runs. While Dipendra Singh Airee 4 and Kushal Malla 2 were unbeaten.
Earlier, winning the toss, Netherlands decided to bat first but their decision was contested by Nepali bowlers.
Karan KC and Pratis GC both took five wickets while Kushal Malla and Dipendra Singh Airee also took wickets 2 and 1 respectively.
In the end Netherlands managed to score 120 runs in 19.3 overs.
