Baglung, March 18: Eight persons were killed and 20 others were injured in a bus accident occurred this evening along the Mid Hill Highway at Jaulepani of Nisikhola Rural Municipality-6 in Baglung district.
The bus (Bagmati Province 01-006 Kha 3879) was on its way to Kathmandu from Rukum Purba.
Police Inspector Raj Kumar BK, Chief of Area Police Office, Burtibang, said the bus fell some 300 metres off the road.
The rescue operations are ongoing, BK added.
Details of the accident are awaited.
