Kathmandu, April 8: The names of five people have been selected among those who applied for the vacant post of chairman in the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON).
According to SEBON, the shortlisted candidates are Krishna Bahadur Karki, Chiranjeevi Chapagain, Dr. Navraj Adhikari, Mukti Shrestha and Santosh Shrestha.
Karki is the Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), Chapagain was the former Chairman of Bima Samiti, Adhikari and Mukti Shrestha working as Executive Director at the Board.
After Ramesh Hamal stepped down as Chairman, the Board of Directors asked for an application for the chairman.
The names of three people from among those shortlisted will be recommended to the Cabinet.
One of those three people will be appointed by the Council of Ministers as the Chairman of the Securities Board for four years. #nepal
