Shree Air returned from runway after smell of ‘nail polish’

Kathmandu, June 2: An aircraft of the Shree Airlines that was ready for a flight on the runway has been returned to the parking bay.

“The plane that was already on a pre takeoff run on the runway has been brought back to the parking bay after the smell of nail polish. There is talk of the aircraft returning to the parking bay due to the smell of nail polish. They have said that the aircraft would be flown after technical inspection,” said Manju Shahi, a passenger.

The passengers have been kept in a bus used for ferrying passengers to the aircraft. The aircraft’s flight was set at 8.25 am.

Airlines manager Anil Manandhar told RSS that there was the smell of fuel inside the aircraft and the plane has been returned for a technical examination. He said that the passengers would be flown to Dhangadhi on another plane.
