Kathmandu, Sept 27: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has announced the suspension of all domestic flights from 7 pm today until tomorrow morning due to poor visibility caused by continuous rain.
Gyanendra Bhul, the information officer of the authority, stated that flights will resume at 6 o’clock tomorrow morning. Due to adverse weather conditions, all domestic flights from Tribhuvan International Airport have been postponed until Saturday morning.
Both domestic and international flights have been affected by the continuous rain over the past 15 hours. Most domestic flights were unable to take off, while some international flights were delayed before eventually landing.
CAAN has adjusted the operating hours for domestic flights, which are currently scheduled from 6 am to 10 pm.
