Triveni (Nawalparasi), Jan 10: Vehicular movement along the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta Purva) was disrupted after a bridge over Binayi river collapsed at 5:00 this evening.
The Chief District Officer of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta Purva), Arun Pokharel, stated that the vehicular movement was completely obstructed after the bridge collapsed in Dumkibas of Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality.
CDO Pokharel mentioned that the central part of the bridge had collapsed and construction of a diversion was initiated since there were no chances of immediate maintenance of the bridge for traffic resumption. RSS #nepal
