Dhading, Feb 26: A tractor carrying a water tanker to Gupteshwari Temple in Galchhi Rural Municipality-3 met with an accident Tuesday night, resulting in the deaths of two young men and injuries to two others.
According to the District Police Office, 18-year-old Prashant Chepang and 20-year-old Jayaram Chepang from Gajuri Rural Municipality-6 lost their lives in the accident. Additionally, 19-year-old Shirish Chepang and 17-year-old Suresh Chepang from the same municipality were injured and have been sent to Kathmandu for treatment.
The accident occurred while reversing tractor numbered Bagmati Province 01-004 K 3352, which was transporting water from Adamghat to Gupteshwari Temple. All four victims were riding on the water tanker at the time of the incident.
The police have taken the tractor driver, 23-year-old Dinesh Chepang from Gajuri Rural Municipality-6, into custody for further investigation. #accident #nepal #dhading
