Kathmandu,April 22: The 7th National Wushu Judge Examination Course and the 11th National Wushu Diploma Examination Course 2025, organized by the Nepal Wushu Federation, were officially inaugurated by Youth and Sports Minister Tej Lal Chaudhary at Dasharath Stadium.
During the inauguration ceremony, Minister Chaudhary stated that he has been working with priority on the development of the sports sector and the welfare of athletes. He expressed the government’s commitment to developing necessary programs and infrastructures to elevate Nepal’s sports sector to the international level.
In his speech, he acknowledged that he is aware of certain illegal activities being carried out by some groups within the Nepal Wushu Federation. He warned that if such activities are not stopped in time, the government will intervene to eliminate the confusion among athletes, thereby sending a clear message.
The event witnessed the notable presence of board members from the National Sports Council, officials from various sports federations, Wushu coaches, and athletes.
The two courses introduced by the Nepal Wushu Federation are expected to enhance the skills of coaches, judges, and players. These programs aim to improve the technical and managerial aspects of the Wushu sport and are anticipated to produce competent athletes and referees capable of representing Nepal strongly in national and international competitions. #nepal #sport #rss
