Kathmandu, July 8: Both Houses of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to meet today.
In the House of Representatives, which begins at 1:00 PM, Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Raghuji Panta is set to present a proposal seeking consideration on the Bill Relating to Tilganga University of Ophthalmology, 2081 BS. The bill was initially introduced in the National Assembly.
Similarly, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will present a proposal for consideration on the Constitutional Council Bill (Duties, Rights, and Work Procedure) (First Amendment), which was also previously amended by the National Assembly.
Ministers concerned will respond to questions raised by lawmakers regarding the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Ministry of Energy and Irrigation.
The National Assembly is scheduled to meet at 1:15 PM. During the meeting, Minister for Education will respond to queries related to his ministry.
Additionally, Chairman of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee, Maya Prasad Sharma, will present a proposal seeking consideration of the Study Report on the Implementation Status of Delegated Legislation, 2081, prepared under the Tribhuvan University Act, 2049.
Minister for Energy, Dipak Khadka, will also table a proposal seeking consideration on the Water Resources Bill, 2081, which was received by the National Assembly from the House of Representatives. #nepal #house
