Kathmandu, Sept 4: Member of the House of Representatives (HoR), Ramhari Khatiwada, has filed candidacy for the post of Chair of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee.
The post of the Chair of the Committee remains vacant. Lawmaker Khatiwada was the sole candidate for the Chair at Parliamentary Hearing Committee.
Khatiwada was proposed by NC Chief Whip Shyam Kumar Ghimire and seconded by CPN UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula for the post.
General Secretary at Parliament Secretariat Padam Prasad Pandey informed that Khatiwada had registered his name for the election to the Committee Chair on Thursday.
The Committee meeting is being held at 5:15 pm tomorrow for deciding the nomination and election. #nepal
