Kathmandu, Sept 25: The National Dalit Commission has presented its annual report for the fiscal year, 2081/82 before President Ramchandra Paudel.
The Commission Chair Devaraj Bhiskarma presented the report amidst a function organized at the President’s Office.
The Commission is a constitutional body established under Article 255 of the Constitution of Nepal. It has been actively working to promote the welfare of the Dalit community to end caste discrimination and oppression.
It is mandated to study and submit reports to the Government of Nepal to implement appropriate national policies and programmes related to Dalit people.#nepal #Dalit Commission#rss
