Kathmandu, Nov 1: Nepal suffered an early blow in the ICC Cricket World Cup League-2 match against the United States underway in the UAE.
After losing the toss and being invited to bat first at the ICC Academy in Dubai, Nepal lost its first wicket when opener Aasif Sheikh was bowled by Nosthush Kenjige on the second ball of the second over.
However, opener Kushal Bhurtel has scored important 37 runs (not out) and Bhim Sharki has been playing at 31 runs. Nepal has a score of 73 runs on the board losing 1 wicket in the 15 overs.
In today’s match, Nandan Yadav has been included in the playing XI in place of Sompal Kami. Nepal has lost both of its previous matches in the ongoing series — by 106 runs against the USA and by five wickets against the UAE.
