Kathmandu, Nov 3: Coordinator of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, held a discussion on preparation for the unity convention, declaration and interim statute.
The two parties have already decided unification. During the discussion held at the central office of the Unified Socialist on Monday, they two leaders dwelt on formation of central committee, unity assembly of eight leftist forces scheduled for November 5, and endorsement of interim statute, according to a Unified Socialist leader Taj Mohammad Minya.
Minya further shared that Dahal and Nepal also reviewed the latest political development and leftist polarization, and national and international updates. The ideological basis and process after the formal unification of the Maoist Centre and the Unified Socialist also featured in the meeting.
Eight leftist political forces, including the Maoist Centre and the Unified Socialist, have principally agreed on their unification. #nepal #rss
