Kathmandu, Nov 20: The Lumbini Lions will take on the Chitwan Rhinos today in the only match scheduled under the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL), the franchise-based T20 cricket tournament.
This will be Lumbini’s first appearance in the tournament. The team is captained by Rohit Paudel, who also leads Nepal’s National Men’s Cricket Team. Meanwhile, the Kushal Malla–led Chitwan Rhinos will be playing their second match. Chitwan had defeated the Karnali Yaks by four wickets in their opening game, securing two points.
The day-night match will begin at 4:00 pm at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur and will be played under floodlights installed for the second season of NPL 2025. #nepal #NPL #cricket
