Kathmandu, Nov 26: The group stage and match schedule for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka, has been announced.
Nepal has been placed in Group C, alongside Test-playing nations England, West Indies, and Bangladesh. Italy is also in the same group.
Nepal’s first match will be against England on February 8. The tournament will begin on February 7 across India and Sri Lanka.
Nepal’s Match Schedule:
- 1st Match: Nepal vs England – February 8 (Mumbai)
- 2nd Match: Nepal vs Italy – February 12 (Mumbai)
- 3rd Match: Nepal vs West Indies – February 15 (Mumbai)
- 4th Match: Nepal vs Bangladesh – February 17 (Mumbai)
In other groups, Group A includes host India, arch-rivals Pakistan, USA, Namibia, and the Netherlands. Group B features Australia, co-host Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Ireland, and Oman. Group D consists of South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, UAE, and Canada. #ICC #WorldCup #T20
