Kathmandu, Dec 16: Ukrainian film producer Polina Piddubna will host a two-day stop-motion animation workshop in Kathmandu.
The event, organized to help participants create animated videos and explore human emotions through animation, will take place at the Taragaun Museum in Jorpati on December 27 and 28.
During the workshop, participants will also get a chance to watch Polina’s film My Grandma Is a Skydiver, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
Originally from Ukraine, Polina now lives in Berlin, Germany, and holds a bachelor’s degree in animation. She currently works as an animation director at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Potsdam, Germany.
The animations created during the workshop will be screened on January 3, 2026. #nepal #rss
