Kathmandu: The United States ambassador to Nepal, Mr Randy Berry has assured for the continued support to Nepal’s development.
Meeting with the newly appointed Minister for Finance, Mr Bishnu Paudel at his office at Singhdurbar on Wednesday Berry said both of them discussed impacts of COVID-19 and the revival of the Nepali economics.
Ambassador Berry tweeted: “Today I paid a courtesy visit to Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel to congratulate him on his appointment. We had a chance to discuss impacts of Covid-19 and the revival of the economy among others. I look forward to continued coordination with Mr. Paudel for better US-Nepal relations!”
Meanwhile, in a statement, the Finance Ministry has thanked US government for it’s continued support in Nepal’s development endeavors.
