Nepalgunj, Jan 26: A massive crowd of the general public was seen in Nepalgunj and Gulariya upon the arrival of Balendra (Balen) Shah. He is the senior leader of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and prime ministerial candidate from RSP.
When Shah reached Radha Krishna Chowk in Gulariya via Nepalgunj on Monday afternoon, a huge crowd of supporters and locals had gathered to catch a glimpse of him.
Supporters and members of the public had been present at the chowk since 1:00 pm, eagerly awaiting his arrival. Police faced difficulty managing the crowd. Shah acknowledged the public by waving from his vehicle and ringing a bell while accepting greetings from the people.
According to sources, Shah is scheduled to travel through Nepalgunj, Bansgadhi, Mainapokhar, Gulariya, Madhuban, and Rajapur before heading towards Kailali. His supporters also warm welcomed Mr Balen in Nepalgunj.
According to party sources, Balen will visit different districts of western Nepal and meet with party workers, cadres, local people and leaders. He recently visited eastern Nepal and filed his nomination from Jhapa-5 where former prime minister KP Sharma Oli is also contesting election. #balen #rsp
