Kathmandu, April 21: The 10th industrial fair held at Sallaghari in Bhaktapur has recorded transactions exceeding Rs 8 million.
Organized on the occasion of Nepali New Year 2083 BS by Industrial Peace Nepal, the 12-day event attracted more than 130,000 visitors, including consumers, according to Chair Sandip Mahat.
The fair featured a wide range of industrial, cultural, tourism, and agricultural products. A total of 180 stalls showcased goods produced in different parts of the country, including Bhaktapur district.
Festival Coordinator Deepak Thapa said the event aimed to promote local products alongside national and international brands. Visitors were able to purchase daily essentials such as food items, handicrafts, electronic goods, agricultural tools, automobiles, woodcrafts, garments, and IT gadgets.
Recreational facilities were also arranged as part of the fair, which proved especially popular among children.
The event also featured musical and entertainment performances by noted artists including Pramod Kharel, Durgesh Thapa, Alina Chauhan, Rachana Rimal, Preeti Paswan, and Bhoj Raj Kafle. Comedy acts and dance performances also entertained visitors throughout the fair. Nepal #industry
