According to President’s secretariat, during the program President Paudel emphasized that government investigations, prosecutions, advocacy, and defense must be more scientific, effective, and evidence-based. He further stressed that increasing the success rate of cases would enhance the rule of law and make criminal justice administration more effective.

“The focus should not only be on increasing the success rate of cases but also on ensuring that victims receive justice and that the process is victim-friendly,” President Paudel remarked. “Hence, the Attorney General’s responsibilities extend beyond punishing offenders to ensuring that victims receive justice, including compensation.”
