Baglung, Jan 13: A total of 193,381 voters have been registered in Baglung district for the forthcoming March 5 elections to the House of Representatives (HoR).
According to the District Election Office, the voter roll includes 98,574 women and 94,806 men. Chief of the District Election Office, Yagya Prasad Rijal, stated that the updated voters’ list shows the largest proportion of voters in the 16–28 age group, reflecting strong youth participation.
Rijal further informed that the number of voters in the district has increased by 5,253 compared to the previous election. The majority of the newly added voters are youths.
