Kanchanpur, Sept 13 : An unidentified group of people torched the office of Bhimdatta municipality-19 in the district on Thursday night.
The group of people broke open the office and set it on fire, said the municipality mayor Surendra Bista, adding that furniture and documents were burnt down in the flame.
Pamphlets printing the name of the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplab’ were found from the incident site. “Who torched the office is yet to be confirmed. Details of property loss are being collected,” he said.
