Dhangadhi, Jan 12: The Birendra Bishram Batika in the Tikapur Park is being opened for public. The executive council meeting of Tikapur municipality held recently decided to open the garden for people.
Mayor Ramlal Dagaura Tharu said with the decision to make garden accessible to public, entry fee per person is fixed Rs 20.
There is a residence of late king Birendra inside the garden.
“As the people visiting park are interested in knowing about then king’s residence, we decided it for their access. It will be in effect from January 14,” he shared.
It is said the residence built in the park forty years back have 12 rooms. The late king used to stay in this residence during his visit to Tikapur. #tikapur #nepal
