Kathmandu, May 24: The Nepal Army has said that it has successfully breakthrough the Dhedre tunnel under Kathmandu-Terai/Madhes expressway. The twin tube tunnel is of 1,653 meters.
The tunnel is at Bakaiya Rural Municipality of Makwanpur district.
Similarly, another twin tunnel of 1,633-meter have already breakthrough.
The breakthrough ceremony was observed by Defense Minister Hari Prasad Upreti, Chief of Army Staff General Prabhuram Sharma, Defense Secretary Kiran Raj Sharma, and other top army officials.
