Kathmandu, June 23: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has suspended two pilots of Nepal Airlines, the national flag carrier.

Civil Aviation Authority spokesperson Jagannath Niraula informed that they were suspended from the flight service as they were found to have violated flight safety rules during the Kathmandu-Narita flight.

According to Niraula, the suspended pilot was found not to have followed the Airbus A330 standard ‘Operating Procedure’. Although the authority has said that they have suspended them from flight service until further notice, they have not revealed who the two suspended pilots are.
