Cabinet to get full shape by Thursday: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the cabinet will get full shape by Thursday.

Speaking at a meeting of the party’s standing committee held at the party’s central office in Parisdanda today, he said that the cabinet would be expanded by tomorrow, said spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara.

During the meeting, Chairman Dahal shared that there was some delay in the expansion of the Council of Ministers due to the ordinance related to political parties.

Spokesperson Mahara told media persons that the government is preparing to introduce a bill in the parliament on Thursday to replace the ordinance related to political parties.

The meeting appointed Dor Prasad Poudel as the central office secretary.

The Sher Bahadur Deuba led present government could not expand even after 60 days.
