China Cooperation Agency willingness to provide emergency assistance

Kathmandu, Nov 4: The China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDA)has expressed condolences and concern over the casualties and property losses caused by the earthquake in western Nepal.

Releasing a statement, CIDA spokesperson Xu Wei, has expressed willingness to provide emergency humanitarian assistance in accordance with the needs of the Nepali government and the victims.

According to Ministry of Home Affairs, Nepal, the devastating earthquake of 6.4 magnitude in Jajarkot and Rukum West district have so far claimed 138 lives and hundreds have been taking treatment in different hospitals.
