Chitwan, June 22: Minister for Information and Communications Dr Bikram Timilsina inspected the newly constructed training building of the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), the National News Agency, in Bharatpur today.
After inspecting all the rooms of the newly constructed building, he instructed it should be brought into operation as soon as possible. The Minister also acquired information about the staff at RSS Chitwan and its local reporters.
On the occasion, Communications Minister Dr Timilsina instructed the news agency to disseminate news promptly and efficiently. He emphasised that RSS, which plays a key role in news production, should embrace the rapid developments in information technology and provide services for the benefit of the country and its people.
The Intensive Urban and Building Construction Project in Chitwan has built the RSS’s training building at a cost of Rs 57 million 671 thousand. The building has 20 rooms and a hall. It also has underground parking space.
The RSS training centre building is constructed on the news agency’s own land at Ward No. 10 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.#nepal #rss
