KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours, an additional 5,763 people across the country have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19). According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 5,706 people tested positive.
A total of 14,403 people were carried out RT-PCR test.
In the last 24 hours, 19 more coronavirus infected people have died. The number of deaths due to coronavirus infection in Nepal has reached 3,298.
With the addition of infected people on Saturday, the total number of coronavirus infected people in Nepal has reached 328,893. Out of which 43,213 people are actively infected. Of them, 40,103 are in home isolation and 3,110 are in institutional isolation.
Similarly, 401 people are undergoing treatment in ICU and 110 people in ventilator.
An additional 1,287 people have been recovered, according to the ministry.
