Inaruwa: The Chief Election Office, Sunsari, has suspended the counting of votes for an indefinite period in Sunsari Constituency No. 4.

Counting of votes was stopped due to the fact that there was not a comfortable environment for the counting of votes due to disputes in the all-party discussions.

Controversy erupted there after Congress candidate and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki accused of rigging during the counting of votes.

Karki accused that the election officials had added 606 votes to CPN UML candidate Jagdish Prasad Kusiat on Friday night. He was demanding to count the votes again.
