Kathmandu: Country has recoded 221 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, such number of coronavirus was detected in course of conducting 4,058 tests.
Similarly, 206 people have been recovered from the virus during the period. The recovery rate is 98.6 per cent. There are 2,444 active cases of coronavirus in the country.
The country did not record any COVID-10 related death in the last 24 hours. Kathmandu District has more than 500 cases of coronavirus while Lalitpur district has more than 200 COVID-19 cases.
There are 2,312 people on home isolation, 132 on institutional isolation, 38 in ICU and three are receiving treatment with ventilator support.
A total 269,645 people received vaccine against coronavirus during the period.
