Surkhet, July 25: A couple has died from electrocution while operating a grass-cutting machine in Surkhet.
The victims have been identified as Dhaniram Acharya, 55, and his wife Dhankumari Upadhyay, 50, residents of Nevare in Birendranagar Municipality-12.
The incident occurred on Friday morning while they were cutting grass at their home using an electric machine. The couple suffered severe injuries after an electrical short circuit caused the machine to deliver a powerful shock.
They were immediately rushed to the Provincial Hospital in Kalagaun for treatment but succumbed to their injuries. #nepal #electrocute
