Court allows additional five days of custody for Mishra



Kathmandu, May 13: The District Court Kathmandu has granted an additional five days of custody for Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Senior Vice-Chair Rabindra Mishra for investigation into the charges of treachery, organised crime and criminal disorder.

Court registrar Tirtharaj Bhattarai confirmed the court’s latest ruling on the case on Tuesday. Mishra, a former BBC journalist, was arrested in connection with the violence that occurred during the March 28 demonstrations held by pro-monarchists in Tinkune of Kathmandu.

Durga Prasai who led the demonstrations remains in the custody as he faces charges for murder, and attempted murder. #nepal #Court allows #rss
