Court issues notice, asking Biplav and others to be present by 35 days

Kathmandu, Dec 4: The District Court Kathmandu on Monday issued a public notice, asking Nepal Communist Party’s general secretary Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) and other leaders to appear before the court.

Chand along with party Spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma (Prakanda), All Nepal Peasants’ Federation revolutionary Chair Raju Karki and Maila Tamang has been facing charge of an offence against the State in the court for the past four years.

The case was filed against them on December 26, 2019, accusing them of jeopardizing the relations among federal units and various castes and communities, thereby committing an offence against the State. The court issued the notice after the police reported to the court that they are absconding.
