KATHMANDU: The total number of people infected with coronavirus has reached 263,193 with 409 latest cases recorded on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Health and Population conducted 6,706 sample tests in various laboratories across the country.
Among 409 infected, 144 are female and 265 male. Similarly, out of the total infected persons, 256,161 persons have recovered.
Currently, there are 1,608 persons staying in home isolation while 197 are receiving treatment at ICU and 30 with ventilator support.
So far, the coronavirus has taken the lives of 1,899 persons in Nepal.
