COVID-19: 52 new cases reported in 24 hours

Kathmandu: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 52 more people in the last 24 hours across the country.

This was revealed in 1,763 samples tested in various laboratories across the country during the same period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

With the new cases, the total number of those infected has reached 1,000,123. Similarly, altogether 16 infected ones enjoyed recovery in the last 24 hours, taking the recovery caseload to 987,438 as of now. The recovery rate is 98.7 per cent.

Likewise, there was no fatality reported from the flu-like infection in the past 24 hours. The death toll from COVID-19 has reached 12,018 till date.

Currently, the number of active cases of Coronavirus infection is 667. Meanwhile, 30,876 people were vaccinated against the deadly infection today alone.
