KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) Party has decided to recall all the ministers serving in the present government. According to sources, the decision was taken at a meeting of the party’s secretariat.

However, the final decision will be taken by Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal.

Today’s meeting has made such a decision, one source claimed. Sources said that the decision would be implemented tomorrow after holding discussions with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Emerging from today’s meeting of the secretariat, Deputy Secretary General of the party Ganga Lal Tuladhar informed that the top leaders would decide on the changes if necessary.

“We were in discussion about this issue. We had sent the ministers for 6 months, and that deadline has already crossed,” he said.

He said that Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal in particular would decide on the issue.

The CPN (U S) has got four ministries in the present coalition government. The party has sent leaders as Birodh Khatiwada (Ministry of Health), Kishan Shrestha (Ministry of Labour), Prem Bahadur Ale (Ministry of Civil Aviation) and Ram Kumari Jhankri (Ministry of Urban Development) to the present government.

Likewise, Bhawani Khapung is also serving as the Minister of State for Health and Population.
